Boulder sympoiesis – Geology as kin

Vernissage and Performance Lecture at Rogaland Contemporary Art Centre. Thursday 09th of December 17.00 (UTC+1)

Presented by Anne-Marte Eidseth Rygh & philosopher Ingunaya Myhre Larsen.

The project is responding to a stay at artist residency and a performance with Boulder. The presentation is motivated by Planetary kinship with geology-A posthuman ethic, considering the wider context of desired paradigm shift from Anthropocene to Ecocene.

The lecture is presented as three chapters:

1.Performance Art Methodology – How to Befriend Boulder.

2.Contesting dual ideology & introducing neo-geology sculpture

3.Exploring overall theme by phenomenological discursive with philosopher Myhre Larsen.

The lecture has a total duration of 60 +minutes and will be available online from the day of the vernissage at the YouTube Channel of Rogaland Contemporary Art Centre.
